Summary
Things get bloodier in more ways than one when the trials to curing Dean make an unexpected turn towards death and insanity. The five years are up and Dean starts to hear a way-too-familiar voice in the back of his mind, who guides him into doing things that are far too unforgivable… until it’s Dean entirely. A child prophet with missing parents, an archangel who will be forced to face his family, an angel that can never really decide if they’re actually an angel or not, a demon who's always absent, a knight of hell who just can’t take the pain, and a human who isn’t handling this all too well are all pushed to their limits while dealing with multiple problems with very limited solutions.

Yugi's a girl, inspired by the fact that I found out that Atem is in fact commonly used as a girl's name. Yes I am aware of the fact that mythology states that there was an Atem who was the father of Bast, but once my brain had started ticking, well… here you go.
There will be 9 main stories in this series but I make no promises how many side stories and one shots will pop up by the time the series ends. This lines up with the 9 Gods and Goddesses of the Egyptian Ennead and is the reason for the series name.

The rest of that day had been spent curled up under his sheets, a blanket and pillow over his head in an attempt to block out the small sliver of light his curtains let through. He’d thought about getting up for food at one point, but the moment he tried to stand up, he felt himself flopping back down onto the bed again, his headache spiking and the pain increasing tenfold. His iconic, cheerful shouts of, "Yoshi!" have been losing their spark. Every night, it's almost impossible for him to fall asleep, so while the brothers are getting some shut-eye, Yoshi is always awake, drawing pictures of Yoshi's Island. This is because on the outside, Yoshi is cheerful and ready to help the Mario brothers save Peach. But on the inside, he's dangerously homesick and drowning in depression. But he wouldn't tell the brothers that... right?
