Summary
Three days have passed since Vecna split the earth, and the town of Hawkins has struggled to recover after the near-complete destruction of the once sleepy suburb. Many of the residents have suffered from serious injuries, including that of young Max Mayfield, who hasn't woken up once since the attack. Her best friend, Jane, has been trying nonstop to reach her with her powers, but nothing has worked so far. She has also been trying to reach someone else, someone who disappeared shortly after the attack, Billy Hargrove.
