And yet, she could not stop wanting to stay alongside her clan making songs of great warriors, songs of sweet sinful nights, or just songs to make a man dance. It wasn't until a certain siren noticed her in the deep dark depths that she was suddenly pushed into the light.

The universe has decided it hates Hizashi. Thanks to an obsessed villain, he's been left unable to refuse any order given of him - including the one to tell nobody of his predicament. He can't ask for help, he can't tell Shouta what's wrong. Each day gets worse than the last. A casual phrase, carelessly tossed at him, could mean his death.
All he can do is sit tight and hope Shouta figures out what's going on. But the clock is ticking, and it turns out Shouta might be more of a danger to Hizashi than either of them know...

But he had forgotten the water’s weight.
He had forgotten how heavy it is as it clings to you and refuses to let go, something he supposes he has in common with this powerful, almost undefeatable force of nature. Letting go has never been something he is good at, in any capacity, in any situation, always clinging clinging clinging like his very life depends on how well he can hold on to all the things that want him to release them.
