Grant Wilson is sick of feeling numb.
He wants to try again. To be someone, something, new.Meadowshade, a tiny town in the North California mountains, offers him that chance. And for a small moment Grant thinks he can achieve that dream of being something more than just Grant Wilson.
Then the old Saint Bernard shows up on his front porch. It has no tag, no home. And Grant quickly realises you can't run from yourself.
