Ray looked at himself with such hateful eyes, his pupils were dilated due the bad lighting and the drugs. He had a sour expression and hissed through his teeth as he pushed himself away. He should just go home, away from his awful people he once called “friends”.
But before he could open the bathroom door, someone else opened it, making Ray bump into a sturdy chest of some random man. He didn’t apologize though, he was just staring at the newcomer, who was questionably raising his eyebrow.“You okay?”, he heard the man say, his voice was surprisingly soft.

Summary
Ray’s entire body aches like a motherfucker.
It’s most noticeable in his head; a dull, constant throbbing made no better by the lights above him. The initial brightness through his eyelids has him thinking that he must be dead, floating in limbo or some kind of afterlife. Not Nirvana though. Ray would never be privy to such luxury.
The only reason he knows he’s still alive is because everything fucking hurts and he doubts even death is that cruel. He doesn’t know if he’s relieved or disappointed.
Ray wakes up in the hospital.

Summary
Ray would dehumanise and degrade Sand, strip him of his being and leave him there to bleed whenever he felt necessary. Sand let him. Maybe it was what he deserved, maybe it was punishment or maybe it was a reason he knew deep down that he refused to face.
