Summary
It took, by Guildenstern's estimation, approximately 24 minutes and 49 seconds of the two of them wandering around like blind drunkards in the forest on horseback for him to finally stop, and ask Rosencrantz, "Do you actually have any idea – any at all – where we're going?"

Summary
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are on a ship to England- they are alive yet, though no one stays that way for long.
The sails of the ship aren't blown by wind, but by the narrative. This time, that ship arrives at the wrong England- and in this England, the narrative answers to the king.Or: Hal might not be as haunted by the narrative as R&G, but nothing normal is coming from that meeting.

“There’s been a certain greyness at the edges, of late. Have you noticed?”
Guildenstern probably has seasonal affective disorder but is unfortunate to exist in a time loop that never lets him see springtime. Let that be his character note.

Alternative ending to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead by Tom Stoppard. It begins after Rosencrantz and Guildenstern's argument on page 112 of the play (Act III). Summary
There they sit, and for this their minute of quietude, Guildenstern allows himself to be ignorant of the strange happenings about them, and of the Prince, and of the blasphemous incest which had plunged the whole country into this tragedy of errors. He thinks only of Rosencrantz, who now leans into him and the weight of his trust in Guildenstern’s hands.
“Perhaps we ought to have sex,” Rosencrantz eventually offers.
“…What?” Guildenstern turns to him. Perplexity is a muffling sort of emotion and settles first upon the ears before the mind.
“Have sex. Y’know. Intercourse.” Rosencrantz says this shamelessly, as though he is speaking of the weather.
“We are having intercourse.”
Perhaps Rosencrantz does not know what he is saying.
“I mean biblically.”
Or perhaps he does. -
