The cold night wind lifted Angela's hair, kissing her neck, making her shiver against Widowmaker's relentless grip. Widowmaker could smell smoke and cloves and champagne on her mouth this close, and it took all the strength she had not to shift nearer. "And how close, exactly, would you recommend, Angela?"

我是一名製衣裁縫，曾為遠行的臨光遠親做事。我為他們的高貴氣度傾倒，成為了他們隱密的粉絲。我瞭解到真實臨光的落沒，卻依舊沒有放棄出發前去卡西米爾。我在路途中認識了荒野獵人，在誤解中認識了他們的首領托蘭，卡什。我見他神情似有悲傷，也慾要前往城裡，便邀請他同行，照顧這個失魂的人（當然我也需要他的指引）。一路上，托蘭向我講述了他的故事。第一日，他向我講述了他們的離散。林中險惡叢生，他卻勇猛地斬殺一隻將要襲擊我的裂獸，我見他手中劍似有金光閃爍。第二日，他向我講述了他們美麗的前程。途中似有鬼魂出沒，令我惶恐不安，次日醒來，我見他身側散落金色髮絲。第三日，他向我講述了他的黯淡，他曾為他親手削去他華美到令人哀傷的長髮，如同剪裁絲綢。不，我才是更加技高一籌的剪刀手。他引起了我的嫉妒，而又使我畏懼。晴日之下，他的影子黑徹，似要吞人。最終，太陽沈落，我發覺我們的終點是臨光的墳墓。我趁他失神，夜晚出行要掘開那位傳奇的墳墓，托蘭早有預料，與我纏鬥在一起。我質問他是不是他還活著，一切都是你要我墜入迷途的謊言。他卻說你早已迷障；最終我死在了這個魔族佬的手下，墳墓中空無一物，似是正為我準備的葬禮。托蘭帶著他們的理想離開了這座鬼城。
