Now he's settled into a secret life in a human community, working in a senior care home while his sons attend a human high school and keep their werewolf nature a secret. All of that is changed when Gerard, Ray and Mikey reappear and Frank learns that his Mate hadn't died like he'd thought for the last decade.
Things aren't as happy as they first appear though, the forces that tore the couple apart in the first place still threaten their safety, and the safety of Ryder and Ash - Gerard and Frank's teenage sons.

Gerard blinks against the darkness and he can't really wrap his mind around it. "But I'm fine."
"Yeah that's why I'm getting you out. The moment they find out you're special, you'll be a lab rat."
Gerard is sick. He can't eat, he can't go under the sun, his teeth feel wrong. Frank has seen enough horror movies to know where this is going. However, the kicker is that this one curse doesn't stem from hatred but grief, and removing the jinx might take a lot more than they're willing to give.

Frank Iero is a werewolf--a Were, to be specific. He was born into a line of pack alphas, but for the most part, he feels like a normal human. Sure, he changes into a grey wolf during the full moon. But he wants more for himself than a life following in his overbearing father's footsteps. So he runs away from the pack. It's not so bad, living with his grandmother in an idyllic mountain town. He spends time making plans to leave town for good, while helping her run her shop and manage her vacation rentals.
Everything is going fine until his first full moon away from 'home.' Running as a lone wolf is different from running with a pack, and he learns that the hard way when he's hit by a car. That's not even the worst of it. The real trouble is the driver, a young author from the city, who changes everything in Frank's life for good that fateful night.
Weres mate for life. It's a sort of 'at first sight' kind of connection that has little rhyme or reason, so far as Frank can tell. Bonding with a human was the last thing he expected for himself and his future. It's certainly the last thing the pack expected of their alpha's heir, and they'll do anything to keep their lycanthropic secret from reaching humankind.

It's not like it's your first tour with My Chem, but with Warped Tour, the stakes have been significantly raised. You've only been here since the start of the Revenge album, and you're practically just praying to whatever deity is out there that you don't have to play anything off of bullets. Still, with the band's reassurance, you're able to muster up some courage. Optimism begins to take over as you come to realize that maybe you'll somehow be able to enjoy yourself.
