Summary
Peisistratus is the seventh prince of Pylos, and he's been waiting for his father and older brothers to come home from the war against Troy. When he falls in love with a widow from the war, Peisistratus has to grapple with the choices he makes for her while dealing with his own grief. Though he never thought that these would be the lengths he'd go for love, he would not have it any other way.
This fic was originally a backstory for the more fantastical, eladrin Peisistratus *I* played in an Odyssey-based Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition campaign now finished.
This is the story of a very different Peisistratus of Pylos, the eladrin paladin of the crew who helps Telemachus find and take long lost Odysseus back home to an Ithaca in a very different world.
