One of the pistons was dislodged. The machinery was torn from its frame, dangling to the ground in a mess of rods and gears. The sensor beeped relentlessly.
There was a Raider trapped under the fallen piston. The heavy bulk of the piston laid on its back, pinning it neatly. It could not escape, or it would have. The Custodian allowed themself to be emboldened, and advanced nearer still to get a better look at their catch.
