It is a well-known fact that demons don’t retain their human memories, except under extraordinary circumstances. Humans, too, don’t retain many memories they have of being a demon—a fact Kamado Nezuko copes with as she meets Tomioka Giyuu for the first time.
But like many things in her newly human life, she can’t really untangle how she’s meeting a man for the first time when he’s already saved her multiple times. And he’s just one of the scraps of memory that she is trying to weave together to make back up a life that is a coherent whole.

Summary
It’s the anniversary of Alhaitham’s grandmother’s death, and Kaveh wakes extra early to prepare food and other necessities his roommate can bring when he goes to visit her grave. In the four years that they’ve lived together, Kaveh easily picked up this practice from the very first time Alhaitham advised he’ll be gone for the whole day, expressing he wishes to be undisturbed, so Kaveh shouldn’t come looking for him even if their house is on fire.

So now that Zuko was here asking for redemption...well, being friends sounded better than being enemies.
Maybe their friendship was destined to be. Maybe together they could bring back some of what was lost.

It’s by wanting to watch a simple video before finally trying to sleep that he comes across a stream. It’s a game he doesn’t know much about because Dokja has never really been a fan of video games. In itself, the stream has nothing special and for now it’s a cinematic so the player doesn’t even speak.
He’s about to quit when he notices the view counter.

He doesn’t know why it makes him feel something. He never watches streams, much less gaming streamers, yet Dokja feels unable to leave. It’s not even pity that keeps him here: he stares at his screen without moving until finally the player starts talking.

His voice drops suddenly. Dokja has three thoughts:
It’s a boy.
He doesn’t seem much older than me.
His voice is nice.
