Summary
The deceased human's name who is written in this notebook will be resurrected. - Life Note.
Upon being gifted a Life Note, that human who is the owner of said note will be able to resurrect people from the dead. The world has currently been thrown into chaos by an anonymous serial killer known as Kira, who kills people with heart attacks and hence opens up the Kira case. However, just as the world tries to wrap around one supernatural entity, the sudden rise of innocent people coming back to life brings a new person to the stage; Kyūseishu, also known as Savior in Japanese. As the world's best detectives try to catch an elusive murderer, a new mysterious player steps into the field, in hopes of ending this destined cursed story to a positive outcome.In other words, rewrite fate.
A battle between Killer and Savior, who will emerge victorious?
And do mere mortals have the capability of breaking the laws of the universe? Only time will tell.-

Three months after Kira started passing judgment on criminals, after Uto Yasushi placed third in Tokyo Daigaku's entrance exams, at the beginning of April, he stumbled upon a strange notebook. The title being; 'Life Note', written in a clean, sleek font. Flipping to the first page, he reads the first line, and there, written in English, like the title, the words; 'The deceased human whose name is written in this note shall live.' Even after scoffing at the claim, after glaring down at the unusually clean cover, after rolling his eyes at the mocking declaration, he slides it into his bag and brings it home.
