Summary
Tim's dad is dead, killed by a boomerang to the chest, and Tim is an orphan now. He knows Bruce would adopt him if needed but he couldn't possibly impose himself on the Wayne's more than he already has. It's okay though, because he has a plan for this, he just needs someone to play the role of his estranged "Uncle Eddie".
Except... the guy he hires is weirdly concerned about his well being and Tim can't figure out why.
Meanwhile, Jason Todd is forced to reevaluate his plans for his debut as Red Hood, because, as it turns out, his replacement is a suicidal idiot who can't be trusted to stay out of trouble.
OR
Tim Drake fails to recognize Jason Todd, back from the dead, and hires him to be his Uncle Eddie to avoid getting adopted by Batman. Somehow this ruins everyone's plans.

Summary
Percy, after having gone through two wars, exhausted and utterly done with the gods, decides to take a break from the Greek world and return to his adopted family back in Gotham for the sake of causing chaos. But, it turns out, demigods are a lot more out of touch than they think they are.
Quickly discovering that the family he returned to, expecting normalcy, was anything but normal, Percy cranks up his sarcasm and mysterious crypticism in order to mess with them. He argued relentlessly with his infuriatingly cocky roommate thanks to the Brit's cynism and constant critique of his being. He tried to remain sane in that environment, his life was much better after moving to San Diego after all. It was stable — a sharp contrast to his family life back in Kentucky, which he had left all behind. That was until his life was intruded by an eccentric Italian that bizarrely appeared in one's life out of nowhere? The chance of a disaster is substantial.
At the same time Johnny's only real friend happened to have met, in Johnny's eyes, most insufferable man on earth who he was unfortunately forced to be roommates with. It quickly bloomed into a mutual fondness and later turned into a suppressed attraction as they had known there would be consequences if Johnny was to discover their affair.

Bruce taught his Robins how to lockpick on day one. Either one of them could have escaped easily by now if they desired to do so. Something as rudimentary as a pair of handcuffs can’t contain two trained bats, yet neither seems to be in any hurry to escape.
“My guess is they lost a bet,” Dick theorizes to Bruce later while they watch on as the pair attempts to get on Jason’s motorcycle without tripping over each other. “Or it’s some kind of weird deal and whoever wins gets the other’s Xbox or something. They seem fine, Bruce. Leave ‘em be.”
But it’s weird. And this bizarre game goes on for longer than Bruce anticipated he’d have to watch, carrying on for another day, and then another, and then two more. Tim and Jason stay locked together at the wrist, and neither gives any explanation as to why that is no matter how much Bruce prods.
