They aren't beating him, which is probably a bad sign, because it means whoever captured him has a plan. Prowl is in a high security cell by himself, criss-crossed hardlight bars dominating his view. The only place to sit is on the floor. There’s nothing for him to rip out of the walls, no cameras inside the cell, no recessed lighting, and his subspace compartments have been pillaged down to the last micron.
Prowl is having a bad time. The only positive to the situation is that Soundwave is having an even worse one.

I can absolutely see Barbatos being the figurehead of the resistance with his domain being Freedom and all that. Also, feedback loop! An idea I planned on exploring but never exactly managed to do so.
