A weird person clad in pastels walks into the Institute.
They have a knowing look in their eyes and a soft smile on their lips in which even they themself have to work to believe. Maybe it betrays that strange young ancientness one gathers within the Gap between Worlds. Maybe they are just queer and neurodivergent. Either way, they learnt about different possibilities and wish to share these options to widen the choices, even when they themself aren't sure if they are truly real.~~~
Decided to toss our TMA OCs (a post Eyepocalypse fusion of Jon and Martin (who went through supernatural therapy)) into TMA for philosophy purposes.
This is a very positive somewhat of an analysis of identity, personhood, fear, and what it means to be a human and alive.

Summary
Tim Stoker has many regrets. There's some minor ones, like the fact he didn't get breakfast before he went and blew himself up. The fact that he blew himself up. To be honest... that should, theoretically, be his biggest regret.
No, his biggest regret is that he came back after.
Seemingly the sole sorry bastard chosen to return to the past after the disaster that was the wax museum, Tim is left trying to pick up the pieces of his own psyche while simultaneously trying to keep his coworkers from dying the same horrible deaths they did last time.
Knowing the future should be easy, but the universe keeps deviating from the path Tim remembers. Even worse, something distinctly inhuman has made a home in his head. Tim wants nothing more than to protect the people he loved, but he's starting to think that the more he solves, the more the world is going to fall apart.

The world is ending, Martin is holding him, crying, pleading, and even with the flickering powers of The Beholding, he can see the way The Lonely surges in around them, trying to steal him away as the human in Jon dies. It hurts, it's always hurt but there's something about it right now that makes it worse. The long phantom claws wrapping themselves around his shoulder, a thick misty blue. It hurts to look at, blurry around the edges, but that might just be the tears in his eyes.
Martin's saying something, but Jon can't hear it, his ears are all static, he can't listen, can't speak, just Know, just Know that he is dying, Know that he is The Eye's now the same way Jonah was, Know that Martin loves him.
The knife in his gut burns and Jon closes his eyes for the last time.
At the same time, the Avengers are called in to subdue an anomaly that dropped directly in the center of Manhattan. -

Sasha seems to be purposefully unhelpful until the team realizes something is very wrong with the Magnus Institute. It's up to them to unravel the mystery and secrets of the Archives, hopefully before it's too late.
