Summary
When one dies, one typically expects some form of afterlife, because expecting pure nothing is either a: too terrifying for them, or b: they expect pure nothing and don't worry about being conscious after death. But waking up in a pure black void, that which feels like the literal embodiment of absence of all things, was terrifying to say the least. I had no sense of time, no sense of direction, I both couldn't see, nor could I feel. It has now been who knows how long, and something has finally changed.
