Summary
For thousands of years on Earth, twenty percent of wixen gained some sort of creature inheritance at the age of 16. Inheritances were seen as blessings as they gave wixen a large increase in power, new abilities, and access to fated creature mates. Albus Dumbledore was one of the 80 percent that did not gain a creature inheritance, and years later the bitter reminders that were inherited by students at Hogwarts caused Dumbledore to take drastic action to fix the situation. Starting with Tom Riddle, he began potioning the students at Hogwarts to suppress any creature inheritances they may have. By the time Harry Potter arrived for his first year at Hogwarts, there hadn't been any new creature inheritances for fifty years. This all changes when Harry Potter turns sixteen and his creature breaks through the potion suppression and he gains his creature inheritance. As the first siren in a millennium, his creature inheritance calls out to all those who had been suppressed and breaks the potion's hold, causing those suppressed to inherit all at the same time. Magical Britain changes overnight, and the Siren is at the center of it all.
