Ilya knew he pulled a face at that based on Shane’s satisfied expression but Ilya just said again “I am not dancing.”
“Oh my god you’re so boring. Fine then watch me.” Shane said, and turned around, moving to the dance floor where someone immediately gripped his hips, wrapping their hands around his exposed skin as Shane pushed back against them, his eyes never leaving Ilya’s.
It wasn’t going to work. Ilya told himself. He was a grown adult, he wasn’t going to be lured into jealousy and possessiveness so easily by a bratty twenty-one year old.

You guys have spent so much time…and time is something you really can't waste, you know? Even if you both wake up tomorrow, and this is all a dream. I mean, the dream would be enough to take me back to sleep."
