Tom “Iceman” Kazansky, one of the country's most powerful producers, sweeps the nation into a frenzy when he decides to conduct a nationwide talent search to cast the lead in the movie version of the most popular soap opera of all time.
Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, the main character of the soap opera since its beginning and Iceman’s on-again, off-again lover, is a star of epic proportion and expected to get the part.
