Summary
The Festival of the First Moon is celebrated on the night of new years. It’s a tradition started by the old faith, and one that Lamb happily took (with a few adjustments). It’s meant to be celebrated by families. The festival typically involves families taking a day off to spend time with one another and watch the first moon of the new year rise. However, not everyone has families to celebrate with. Lamb, whose family was killed in the genocide. Narinder, who outcasted himself from his family and was practically disowned. Talis, whose family was killed. At least they have each other now.

Summary
Leshy and the vessels have all begun to settle into their cult lives. With some encouragement from his newfound partner, Leshy has been trying to repair things with Narinder. The vessels, under Talis’s guidance, have started to warm up to Lamb and have slowly earned their trust. Now they are allowed to free roam the cult grounds without supervision. However, the bishops decide to pay a visit to the cult itself, and they don’t want to leave empty handed.
