Your two lives quietly entangle with eachother over your 4 years of studies together, eventually catching mutual feelings for eachother but leaving it unsaid due to denial and outside obstacles. By your 4th year, you both slowly separate from eachother.
That is, until you join Cognito Inc. around 12 years later.. and the tension has only increased.
(This fic places Reagan at MIT slightly later than canon, letting her begin her actual studies there at 17 opposed to 13 alongside reader-insert. All other characterization follows canon unless noted.)

IJ;AH revolves around the big question of: What if Reagan said yes to Appleton, and ran away with Ron?It has been two years since Reagan ran away from office. Brett Hand has been acting as CEO of a crumbling company for too long, and once he hears that the pair he's been keeping an eye on all this time have started a family together, he considers that he may have to make a morally grey decision for the benefit of the entire shadow government. He decides to get his boss back. For good.
