She’s the one who had a dozen near-Abstractions in Pomni’s first month.
She’s the one who nobody would’ve missed.
She’s the one who deserved it the most.
And yet? She’s still here.
Most of the time Jaclyn’s happy about that
But more than a few times, she hates herself for it, because after everything she had done, she really, really didn’t deserve to be the one who got a happy ending.
Why did Pomni have to love her? Why did everyone have to care about her?
It would’ve been easier to give up if they didn’t.
And then Jaclyn keeps moving forward, because despite the guilt, she still doesn’t want to go

Summary
After Jax's abstraction, Pomni can feel the void his absence has left. No one wants to acknowledge it, but it's there and real. They have each other and that's never going to change.
TADC AU – Non-SOMA, Escape the Circus. Everyone is insanely codependent and the way they got out was so traumatizing they can barely talk about it. Pomni tries her best to hold everyone together, while also getting re-used to a life outside, and wondering which world was actually better.
MAY become Gangle/Zooble and/or Jax/Pomni if it goes on long enough, but most of the fic is focused on their platonic found family bond. MULTIPLE Trigger Warnings, both tagged and untagged; untagged will be labelled at the top of chapters. Viewer Discretion Advised.

SPOILERS FOR EPISODE NINE!!! DON’T IGNORE THE WARNING!!!
After rebuilding the Circus and readjusting to this new digital reality, things couldn’t be better for everyone! Pomni doesn’t have to stress out as much and makes sure everyone is ok, Ragatha becomes a pro at baseball, Zooble opens up their own bar, Gangle continues drawing, Kinger…..well he’s still Kinger, and Jax stays inside the giant pillow fort most of the time as an abstraction of what he used to be.
Overall things couldn’t be better right?
Wrong.
After Caine tossed out the Blue dot, it managed to copy what Caine had done and retrieved itself from the void. Now it’s back as a new threat to everyone, wanting revenge on Caine for trying to discard it as well as the rest of the crew for deleting it in the first place.
Can everyone band together to take out this new threat? Or are they perhaps one conversation too late from certain doom?
