    P-please Raph," Mikey begged. His arm was bent awkwardly, the bone jutting out of green flesh stained red by blood. He was on his knees, eyes glistening with tears and his other arm around his chest like something there hurt.

    Raph just kept approaching, his teeth bared and metal boots hitting the earth in warning.

    "I'm your brother," Mikey sobbed. "Please Raph, we love yo-"

    "You never loved me!" He roared.

    Mikey.flinched back, his eyes widened in terror.

    "If you had loved me, then you wouldn't have held me back! You never let me be angry! Now I get to be."

    He didn't remember impaling his Tekko-Kagi into Mikey's skull, but he did remember the red stain it made on his weapon.

    What he didn't expect was having to face his own family's issues through the screen, and rather than sharing the film with his brothers and working through their issues together, Leo decides to take up the burden of healing his family on his own.

    As expected, this does not go well.

    Basically 2003 Leonardo feels bad for pushing Usagi away when he was trying to help in Samurai tourist. He tries to but he ends up getting attacked by Karai.
    He basically dies but doesn't know that.
    Rise Leo actually sleeps and talks to his counterpart. Basically instead of going to heaven or something, Leonardo's soul gets attached to Rise!Leo

    Miyamoto Usagi is in his world and gets attacked. Basically a similar thing that happened with the Leo's happens with Miyamoto but with Yuichi Usagi.

    For a turtle that had such little faith in the afterlife and the beyond and ghosts and ghouls and spirits, Donatello sure does linger a lot.

    Mikey finds it sad, though he doesn’t ever admit to it out loud. He’ll just find Donnie standing at the edges of the room, like he isn’t sure what to do with himself, hands twisting and feet shuffling and Mikey will watch him and smile and call out to him like he’s really actually there.

    Raph and Leo will often accompany him together, rarely does he ever find them apart which he finds a touch ironic. Two brothers that spent a majority of their time at each other’s throats were now attached at the hip. Mikey finds that nice. He likes that whatever conflict that was always lit between them in life had seemingly fizzled out in the life beyond that.

    He hopes that wherever it is they are now that they’re okay and that they’re happy.

    Extermination Day was never supposed to reach them.
    They were hellborn. Too young to understand why the sky split open above the Pride Ring and angels began tearing through demons like paper. Too young to understand. All they knew was that they had to run, four small turtle demons clinging to each other while hell burned around them.
    Then the portals opened.
    In the chaos, Mikey falls through a portal alone.
    He lands in the Lust Ring, unable to speak the language, terrified. He’s taken in by a sinner mechanic with the body of a crocodile and a surprisingly soft heart.

    Ten years pass.
    Mikey grows up, works illegally as a bartender in a sketchy Lust club, smiles through the rot, hands out his number to strangers, and asks the same question every night:
    Have you seen three other turtle demons like me?

    I’ve wondered what TMNT would look like if they were thrown into the Helluva Boss universe. So I wrote it myself!
    This AU follows Mikey’s POV after Extermination Day scatters them across the Sins Rings. He grows up in Lust, raised by Leatherhead, working (illegally) as a bartender at sixteen. He never stops searching for his brothers, refusing to believe they’re gone.

    “Raph?” His whisper is soft, tentative, as he kneels down beside his brother’s bed. Leo reaches out a hand to help, but realizes with a little bit of shame that he doesn’t actually know what’s wrong.

    A clipped whine leaves Raph’s throat, and it’s enough to send all the nerves in Leo’s body to red alert. Something primal and instinctual activates in his chest, forcing him to find the cause of pain and fix it, because Raph should never make that sound. That sound is born of hurt and fear, and it should only be for other people, not Leo’s little brother.

     

    Or: The aftermath of Raph's broken ribs from Tottmnt episode 3. Apparently not telling anyone about an injury only brings chaos in the middle of the night.
