But above all: read to learn what it will do to you.
Nobody in this story is mentally well. They all struggle. But they are people like you and me. They are parts of me I want to show you.

So when he heard some frankly disturbing noises (and it took a great deal to disturb Gethen) issuing from Fintan’s room in the hideout, he seized the opportunity with both hands, decided that he’d just tell Gisela that he suspected Fintan of conspiracy to murder Vespera (her new favourite Neverseen member) as an excuse, and headed straight in the direction of the noises.
Gethen accidentally walks in on Fintan and Vespera having sex. He gets the brilliant opportunity to join in.
