Prince Al Xu'ffasch is not the youngest prince to rule Nanda Parbat, but that doesn't mean Dick agrees he's old enough. He wants to help the boy as much as he can. That starts by saving him from the Federation.
Or: An AU retelling of the rescue scene in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, wherein Damian Al Xu'ffasch is the Prince of the planet being invaded by the Trade Federation, and Jedi Knight Bruce Wayne and his Padawan Dick Grayson come to the rescue.

Summary
Dick has just met one of the prince's manservants, and he's already grown quite fond of him.
The planet they've landed on is fraught with danger, but they find a few friendly faces along the way. One of them seems quite enamored by Damian.
Or: a continuation of my Star Wars : The Phantom Menace AU. The prince and his Jedi ambassadors have landed on a desert planet, and begin searching for a way to repair their ship. Along the way, Damian meets a young slave boy.

Now, said prince has become a senator, and requires the Jedi's protection once more. Jon might be a little too thrilled about it.
Dick tries and fails to pretend he doesn't notice.
