Shadow Weaver and Hordak Make a Mistake

Work Text:

Why did we do that? Shadow Weaver thought as she sat on the edge of the metal plank that served Hordak as a bed. What possibly possessed us to do… that.

 

Hordak lay flat on the bed, staring at the ceiling. He was asking himself similar questions. 

 

She kept the robe and mask on, he thought. Why did she keep the robe and mask on? 

 

He’d heard of such activities, whispered amongst his brothers before he’d lost touch with Beloved Prime. He just never thought he’d do such a thing. Now that he had done such a thing, he really didn’t want to think about it. 

 

“You should…,” he started to say. 

 

“Get out,” Shadow Weaver said as she stood up, thinking of multiple bottles of wine. “Yes, I believe I will.” 

 

She flowed across the room to the door. She didn’t turn around as she slowly said, “We should…”

 

“Never speak of this. Ever,” Hordak said, staring at the ceiling.

 

“Agreed,” Shadow Weaver replied. 

 

And they didn’t.
