    I haven't got into the why because I don't want to think of the why. :) Take pretty much everything you said and more and I think that'd pretty much cover it. As to Hordak taking better care of himself, that's not happening until a certain purple haired princess arrives.

      I do find this fic very funny because I once did a Shadowdak, myself. And they both regretted it! It was just a quick mention, though, in a fantasy AU story that was filling a prompt. Fantasy universe inspired by a couple of video games in which Hordak and Kadroh (Wrong Hordak) were of a species of elf fleeing a cult and since Imp was there in a universe without sci-fi style cloning, I made him Hordak's son from a failed marriage with "A shadow-weaving sorceress" - so, deadbeat mom Shadow Weaver! Ask me if you want me to hunt it up for you - it's in one of my multi-mini-fic collections.
