    This was absolutely delightful, I am melting with glee. At the banter, the slow evolution of their relationship, the hints of Cas's background. <3

    And I particularly love the spin you've taken on the Roadhouse and hunter gathering places, and on hunter interactions. It's something that I love seeing and rarely get enough of: expansion of the glimpses we get in the show of that community, building on those glimpses into something that works as a functioning and interconnected subculture.

    I've been away from fandom for a while, and this fic was a wonderful reintroduction and reminder of everything I love about it.

      Thank you! This fic was an indulgent piece of wish fulfillment... While I love the show the way it is, it's nice to imagine how it'd work in a different format, for example if it was an ensemble piece where Sam and Dean had a stronger support system.
