      They are, I think, it’s a law about shutting down non-profits that may be supporting terrorism, but that’s damn near impossible to fucking define and identify, so AO3 is probably going down. Fair warning, I get most of my information from the AO3 subreddit, TikTok, and simple google searches(ik, not the best idea), but almost everyone seems to be saying the same thing. It was the spur I needed to final get a flash drive and download legit everything I read.

         I think the only hope might be that because it's hard to define and identify a03 would have reasonable grounds to protest the shut down. They get a warning and they have to comply, but appeals are a thing. please dear god let them appeal.
