  1. Awwww I loved the ending, it's really poetic !
First of all, merci for going the extra mile of trying to write in French, I KNOW it can be a HUGE hassle haha
Of course there are mistakes and of course your words sometimes were a bit muddled. That's absolutely normal, do not worry, us French have so many words for almost the very same thing it can get confusing even for us lmao
The one thing I'd advise you to work on for now would probably be to distinguish which verb to use between Avoir et Être when using le Passé Composé as in "j'ai aimé, je suis tombé" and probably the bit of grammar about the cases in which you need to make your past participles agree with your pronoun.
You can read short stories or books in French to get a better feel or flow of the language, for example the tenses which you need to use when narrating, those can be confusing too, if you use the past, you have to stick to it, just like in English. I know we have soooo many confusing tenses haha good luck !!! That was already a huge challenge you took on, so you can be proud of yourself !

For the story part, did he get killed by his girlfriend for his money just like in the music video or was it somehow that she (or one of her friends) got conned by him and wanted revenge or smthg ? Because it somehow gave me those vibes at one point. Goodness, that was interesting ;)
    Thank you again !

      1. Haha yes that's quite the challenge to write in "past" past tenses !

Oh upon rereading the summary : lemme correct that one ;) If you meant I'm scared of you, you have to say "J'ai peur de toi" instead of Je suis, we can say Je suis amoureux de ... But we also say J'ai envie, j'ai peur, j'ai froid, j'ai chaud
I can't even remember the rule for that sort of things haha I'm sorry I cannot explain why it is this way!

Haha yes reading will get you far that's for sure ;) but if you can find some easy grammar book or something, that will definitely help you a lot, because French grammar is ... Hellish hahaa just like conjugation and loads of stuff

I'm certain you must have put a lot of effort in this, so I for sure would not be able to push all your hard work down the drain! Keep learning! And if you write in French again, hit me up, I'll be happy to give you feedback again ;)

And I'm glad you ended up liking this artist's work so much haha I have to admit I am not the one who nominated it (I'm always too late for that step wups), but I quite like this song too!
