  1. This is so awesome. It feels very classic, that whole snarking back and forth thing, like in old Bogey and Bacall films or something. I'm thinking of one in particular but I cannot for the life of me remember the title right now. You know what I mean, though. You know what I mean, though?

Anyway, all that ineloquence aside, I loved every word of this, and I CANNOT wait for the sequel.

(And screw you, Chrome, 'ineloquence' is totally a real word.)

    1. Holmes wreathed in smoke. By me.

Yeessssss. I know what you mean. Though. I mean, I don't know what film specifically you're talking about, but I really had that sort of snarking, love-hate, Beatrice/Benedick-spawned relationship in mind for them. They're sort of tough to manipulate into the position of falling for each other otherwise, yanno? At least, it seems that way to me. Especially if it's going to be at all plausible.

(Thanks. I can't wait to be able to work on the sequel more, but it's only gonna get drips and drabs over the next few weeks, alas.)

      1. I didn't realize until after I'd posted that I had the same damn sentence in there twice. Sorry about that. But still. I'm glad you do know what I mean. I totally got that snark-tastic vibe from this, and it made me laugh so much.

I'll try to be patient about the sequel. And I still don't remember which movie I was thinking of. Oh well.

Shhhhh. Pretend it was on purpose. It totally sounded clever. <3

Anyway, I'm SO glad you laughed at the snark-tastic, classic movie vibe. That makes me happy.
