    Oh my god. Karen's internal monologue in the beginning killed me. You are so good at getting inside her head.

    She would throw her life away for him, he’s right — but only because her love for him is what keeps her soul from bleeding away into black.

    He doesn't see her. That emotional rollercoaster of a cycle she goes through.

    Ughhhh! That's exactly right. It breaks my heart. How did you capture it so perfectly. Beautifully. Poignantly. Ok. Running out of superlatives. But this was seriously amazing.

    Then when Frank visits? He's always moving away from her. He gets to choose. He's always the one who gets to choose. And then I died.

    I was resuscitated for a little while when Frank finally sucks and blows without Scooter being involved. ;) But the ending. A declaration but not. I need a happy ending for Kastle!

    Alright, enough whining. I just realized you have only 2 Kastle fics. I hope you'll consider writing more because you have an uncanny way with them. You have it down. Your writing style is beautiful and deep and poetic at times. Almost economically in the best way possible. You pare it down to essentials and hit us with the greatest impact. It grabs at the heart and sometimes guts. And while readers may complain/compliment you on killing them/us, we love it. We live for this pain. As long as you throw some crumbs along the way like Scooter and steam and cuddling and what you've already done, we'll follow you anywhere. And if you give us a happy ending... Well, we'll be yours forever.

    Both of your Kastle fics have been bookmarked btw. For future depending if I want to laugh or cry...

    But more? Please?

      Thank you so much for this amazing comment! It's taken me so long to answer because I was overwhelmed! I'm so happy that my two little Kastle fics made an impression on you. Your compliments on my writing really touched my heart. So thank you.

      I was proud of the "her love for him is what keeps her soul from bleeding away into black" line, so I'm glad you pulled that one out. And I'm sorry that the smutty fic has a sad ending. I probably should come back and write another story with smut + happy ending.

      I am still writing in the Daredevil fandom, I just mostly write Karen/Matt (and occasionally Frank/Karen/Matt), under the name LilyEllison.

      But maybe I will find that happy, smutty Kastle fic in me someday!

        Ahhhh!!!

        I read you as LilyEllison! Also bookmarked and subscribed! I love your work there too!! I read Daredevil too. I love both but I have to admit a slight preference for Frank. Matt's pulled too much shit. Before I can get on board a Karedevil fic, he needs to grovel sufficiently for me to get on board. Otherwise, I just want to smack him.
