Comment on Update: Site problems and our firewall upgrade

  1. Thanks for fixing the issue so quickly. AO3 seems to be working fine from my computer and phone, however ever since the firewall issues, my Kindle browser (vital for those easy MOBI downloads on the move fic reading) won't access the page. I don't even get a 502 or access denied or similar, just a pop up saying it can't access it at all. Is this likely to be related to the firewall issues?

      Yes, it seems we're having a few issues with the firewall still - I know we've had one other report of the Kindle browser no longer working, so it's likely the same thing. We're looking into it - apologies for the inconvenience.

      If you've got a minute, could you send Support a ticket with the following info:

      * What model Kindle you're using;
      * What version OS you're using and what version browser (if you're not using stock); and
      * Are you connecting via wifi or a cellular network, and if the latter, who your provider is?

      We're trying to trace the pattern of disconnects, so every piece of information we receive is valuable!
