      If people are blocking you on AO3 (or on any other platform, really, but platforms that aren't AO3 are off-topic), that's their decision and the staff have no business interfering.

      Sometimes, you just have to accept that someone doesn't want you interacting with them.

      On the bright side, being blocked on AO3 doesn't interfere with your life the way a restraining order does.

    2. I've always taken people blocking me as a sign I probably didn't want to talk to them, anyway. That might sound harsh, but clearly something I said or did bothered them enough to do so, and I'd probably do "worse" eventually if I knew them. It doesn't have to be taken as an insult.
