Summary
Six years after the Wilshires kept him from joining the Trojans, Jeremy finds himself in law school (which he hates) on track for a position on his step-dad's campaign team (which he also hates). Jean Moreau stays busy playing for the LA Pirates but makes time every weekend to pick up a shift at the House of Hope, an animal shelter where he volunteers side-by-side with his favorite person. Jean adopting a dog has Jeremy happily accepting the role of Handsome Guy's Dog-Sitter, and Jean certainly isn't complaining about coming home to sheets that smell like Jeremy.
Grief, insecurity, and general Wilshire shittiness (followed by a well-deserved crash out) prompts Jeremy to move in full-time, and while it's almost perfect, sharing a bedroom with your crush, navigating domestic life and co-parenting a dog can be tricky when your love is "unrequited". It's even harder when neither wants the forehead kisses, hand holding, or heartfelt compliments to end, but maybe could use an occasional "no homo" just to stop the daydreaming.
Or, Jean and Jeremy teach each other how loveable they are. All while being roomies <3
