What makes a hero?
There wasn’t really a right or wrong answer. Some said it was how many people you save, regardless of your initial intentions. Others argued it was how powerful you were in terms of defeating villains.
To Midoriya Izuku, it was your intentions and beliefs.
It was if you chose to do the right thing.
It was having a kind heart.
So why, when he stood before the number one hero - his idol, his inspiration, the man who gave him the will to live - did he feel heartbroken? That wasn’t what a hero was supposed to make civilians feel, right? They were supposed to protect and comfort.
Not crush dreams.
Or;
Midoriya Izuku is only a middle-schooler. A kid. There is only so much a kid can take... And an interaction with his idol pushed him a little too far.
But that small push might've changed his life forever... -

“Wings?” Izuku blurted before he could stop himself. “You-you can see my wings?”
“...am I not supposed to?” All Might asked, tone heavy with hesitance.
“No,” Izuku spoke and his eyes glowed a ring of gold as his wings pulsated with heat, spreading out just the tiniest bit longer. All Might’s eyes went wide as he watched the display, something in him cracking, clenching, and burning at the sight. “You aren’t.”

Summary
After moving to Seattle, Max's parents take her camping to cheer her up only for everything to get worse.
Max gets bit by a werewolf and her parents shut her away from the world afraid of what Max will do and what others will think. Cue the five years of ghosting Chloe.
But now Max is back in Arcadia Bay attending Blackwell and hoping to get a second chance with Chloe. Which she gets while helping Chloe hunt down Rachel Amber, making deals with vampires, and being assigned pack leader to the wolves who live in Arcadia Bay.
