Nitroglycerin was used to help lower peoples blood pressure. It was highly unstable and could explode at any moment. It smelt faintly like burnt sugar. When people came into contact with it, it was highly toxic.

__________He knew all of this, he understood all there was to know about nitroglycerin, he had to know. But knowing all of this was useless when no-one else cared to learn about it.
