Summary
April 6th, 1996. Exactly ten years have passed since the worst day in Will Byers's life: The day Vecna was defeated. What should have been an occassion to celebrate turned into a nightmare. Because defeating Vecna resulted in the loss of Will's entire family.
Now Will is struggling to at least do one last thing right: To take care of a rebellious teenaged Holly Wheeler, who lost all her memories of her life previous to that horrible day. Summary
Steve Harrington Never thought he would have peaked in High School. Yeah, sure, he was not exactly going anywhere with his life, but who could blame him, after three years of head trauma, plenty of mental scarring from battling interdimensional monsters, and physical scarring from getting his face rearranged by Highschool Hotheads and getting tortured by Russian spies beneath a mall in the middle of nowhere America. So really, who could blame him for taking a year or two off after barely graduating high school to figure himself out or whatever?
Good intentions aside though, turns out he had no choice in the matter. Just a few months after the nightmare that was Starcourt, he managed to find himself dead, and not heroically battling against hell beasts from an alternate dimension, but rather from a stale fancy-ass truffle that didn't even taste all that great to begin with.
Only to wake up and find himself an infant again, except with all his memories intact.

Caitlyn’s ears were ringing from the explosion.
There was smoke and dust all around her, obscuring her vision as she staggered to her feet, trying to process what had just happened. One minute she’d been half-carrying Vi away from the carnage after a Noxian soldier had sliced a nasty cut across her stomach, the next Vi was pushing her away and running to throw herself in front of Jinx, who seemed to be reaching out for the monstrosity that had once been their father. Caitlyn just barely caught a glimpse of a tiny, blue-haired figure crouched underneath the roaring creature before there was an explosion of blue light, the force of it so strong she was knocked off her feet.
Now, she gripped her rifle at her side, scanning desperately through the smoke for any sign of life. The name left her lips like an instinct, panic taking over as she screamed. “Vi! Vi, are you out there? Vi!”

It’s all so overwhelming, and stupid, and too dramatic, but she’s all of fourteen and a half, and she’s pretty sure there’s no way to quell these blooming feelings she has towards other girls, or this desire to look differently, and it’s all so fucking terrifying but mom is offering her this one sliver of understanding, so, maybe things will be alright. Maybe she doesn’t have to avert her gaze in a panic when she looks at other girls and her parents are around, maybe she could ask their hairdresser to cut her hair shorter next time, and—and maybe mom would understand if she told her she doesn’t want to wear skirts and dresses anymore.
