Bakugou has the distinct impression Deku isn’t telling him everything here. Arms folded, he narrows his eyes in a challenge. He refuses to rise to the bait but he’ll prompt Deku to move this the fuck along.
“Yeah? Like what."
“He wants you, Kacchan.”
Holy shit. Nothing could have prepared Bakugou for that. He jolts up on the couch so abruptly it’s a goddamn miracle he doesn’t fall off.
“H- What the fuck- ” Bakugou wheezes.
“For the Met Gala,” Deku adds, like that isn’t an important contextual landmark that changes everything about that fucking sentence.As if understanding the devastation he has just caused, Deku’s eyes widen.
“Oh. K-Kacchan?! You didn’t think I-?!”
Bakugou pinches the bridge of his nose, sighing sharply. Somehow this damn nerd has now successfully found a way to verbalise keysmashes and it does terrible things to Bakugou’s throbbing head.
Todoroki asks Bakugou to make his outfit for the Met Gala - nothing is what it seams.
