Short fics and posts from my tumblr, for people without it or who don't follow me there. Spamton and or Tenna x reader fics. These are not so polished and purple as my other fics, but I figured I might as well put em up here anyway. If you want to request something I'm @merrimentsmight on tumblr, but I'm not the best at responding to those.

Summary
For two years as a teen, you had lived in Playtime Care, the precursor to Playcare. While there, you'd befriended a jack-in-the-box toy named Oliver. But eventually, you grew up and left Playtime Care, and had been forced to wonder if Oliver had ever even existed outside of your imagination.
Two decades later, rumors of living toys near the recently collapsed Playtime Co Factory bring you the faintest glimmer of hope--Maybe your old friend had been real, and maybe he's still there somewhere. And maybe he needs your help.
What you find in the caves below the factory is far worse than you'd imagined it could be, but you find yourself with an usual ally--the Prototype. You have no idea of his recent fall from grace. He's been stripped of his immortality, his godhood, and his kingdom, and is alone in the caves below the factory, along with the scant handful of toys that didn't escape with Poppy and her Angel.
The Prototype finds himself intrigued at your return, so agrees to help you search for your friend...despite knowing full well that Oliver is long, long gone.

Summary
What a strange concept.
Connection.
They had never felt it. Never been understood. And no one had even cared enough to try.
Until… you.
Sometimes, they couldn’t take it. How could you look at them, right in their optics, and say they were lovely? How could you look at them with a smile, a real, genuine one? Not the shudder of disgust that seemed to be the default while looking in their direction. How could you ask their opinion? They are not people, yet you treat them like they are. Why can’t they get enough of it?
It’s mortifying, almost. Yet… they can’t seem to let go of how sweet it feels, now that you’ve given it to them.
"If we want the rewards of being loved we have to submit to the mortifying ordeal of being known" Aka: dca x reader slowburn where you end up knowing them so intricately, that they do not need to say a word. Knowing that when Sun’s hands fidget subtly he is nervous, even if his faceplate doesn’t show it. Being able to gauge Moon’s mood by simply knowing that if he grows a little too still, something is wrong. Knowing how they’re feeling by the subtle ways their body shows it, just like they do for you. -

Summary
After experiencing Caine’s “Escape the Circus” adventure, the circus member’s morale remained at an all-time low—well, excluding yours. Since you had accepted the inability of escaping, you decided against participating in the adventure.
You were an enigma to the others—and they vocalized these concerns occasionally (some more ruthless than others). Some believed you were insane, while others believed you were one of Caine’s NPC’s. Despite hearing all these claims, it didn’t bother you as much as you thought it should. You enjoyed staying in the circus—and it was obvious that you did.
But there you stood, watching all your companions become mentally tormented while you were presumably completely forgotten about. You believed it was a glitch in Caine’s system, while the others gravitated towards the belief that you weren’t actually human.
As it turns out, it would be revealed to be something else entirely.
