Summary

Caine loves his new place alongside the other members of the digital circus troupe. Life has become much better as everyone seeks to build a home they can all enjoy, and the former ringmaster is all too aware of the trust he needs to earn back. After he hesitates about participating in a group activity, Zooble decides to help out in their own special way, leading to discussions of the past and a certain blue AI.

In a panic, Caine willed himself back to his office, snapping his fingers to ensure the door was locked. None of the humans knew where his office was, or even had the means to get to it, but he still didn't want to take the chance. His eyes, flickering between red and blue, darted around the room. He needed an outlet, he couldn't just let this frenzy lay waste untouched, left to run around in his mind and crash into every wall in its path.
And then Caine got an idea.

Summary
Caine can't seem to give his wonderful players anything they actually enjoy. The fake exit adventure proved it- he'd done what he could. It had been real. They even chose to stay. And yet, they hate him. They just hate HIM.
At the end of his rope, he comes up with a genius idea: what if he just leaves? If they hate him so much, then he'll give them what they want. He did not mean to abstract- he wanted a dramatic show, first, really, but does it matter so much how he goes out, anyway? He doesn't mind the change of plans as much as he'd have thought he would.
[TLDR: Caine almost abstracts. Bubble is scrambling to convince any of these idiots to do something, and Kinger's confronting a whole lot more responsibility for this mess than he'd anticipated.]
