“Are you gonna wash your hair or not?” Jayce lets out, looking at him now. He’s a bit taken aback, blinking up at him. He nods slightly, glancing down at the phone in his hands. “When?” He doesn’t care to hide the annoyance in his own expression. “I’m going to.”
Jayce looks even more annoyed than he himself feels. Staring at him like it’ll make the problem go away. His expression softens slightly, sitting down on Viktor’s bed. “Let me do it for you then.” He can immediately feel his face heat up - because the idea is enticing. They’re friends, sort of close but not really. This isn’t something you just ask.

Summary
Jayce has self-control.
He has always been a disciplined, note-worthy child, with patience and maturity that rivaled that of his seniors. He knows all his limits. He has stopped himself when he started to get ahead, and has pushed himself when he started to get behind.
He has self-control. It’s a blessing, really. He’s used it all his life. In the lab, to not jump to conclusions, to take his time with his math and calculations. To eat slow and run fast.
But Viktor is a fucking enigma to him.
OR: Viktor's limping around the lab after a particularly long night up with Jayce. Things escalate.
