The distance between them disappears in a single step, his hand coming up without hesitation. “Hey— it’s okay, I’ve got—”
“You don’t have to do that!” Tim’s voice cuts through him.
Dick freezes. For a second, he doesn’t move. Doesn’t pull back, doesn’t press forward, he just stops, caught in the moment as the words shake him harder than they should.
You don’t have to do that.
Not don’t touch me.
Not that hurts.
Not even stop.
Something else.
Dick’s brain scrambles to catch up, then it clicks, the interpretation sliding into place with a quiet, awful clarity.
Oh.
It’s not that he can’t.
It’s that he doesn’t want—
Dick pulls his hand back like he’s been burned.

Things haven’t been right between Tim and Dick for a while, and Dick is painfully aware of the fact that Tim doesn’t want Dick anywhere near him, so when he finds Tim hit with cuddle pollen, he freezes, because despite how desperately Dick wants to comfort his little brother, he won’t cross his boundaries.
It only gets more complicated when next time, Dick gets hit with pollen, and Tim’s the one to find him. -

Summary
After being gravely injured after his fight with Pariah Dark, Danny hangs up the proverbial cap and moves on with his life. Without being a ghost, space was now impossible due to his injury, so Danny puts to use the long hours he was forced to work in his parent's lab to use, gaining an internship at Wayne Industries. All he wants is to put his past behind him and move forward. But old traditions and new threats get in the way.
And another thing, why did his coworkers think he was about to be adopted? His parents weren't that bad, let alone the fact that he wasn't a minor anymore.

Summary
Question time: What if Tim and the rest of his assassin friends *did* die when the Council of Spiders attacked? If Tim and his team were thrown into the Lazarus pit? What would become of Tim, and what would Tim become?
After two years in the League of Assassins, Tim leaves for... reasons, and ends up swinging back by Gotham to add just one more contingency plan. In doing so, he gets literally everyone's attention and now instead of enjoying his brief vacation, he's stuck dealing with Dick, Jason, whatever it is Ra's is trying to do, and everyone else slowly finding out that he isn't dead (and some people finding out that he died in the first place). Can't a guy get a break? (No he can't, sorry Tim!)

Summary
A calm, cloudless night can never be trusted on the open ocean. Hakoda finds that true when, one night, a piece of scrap metal carries something more dangerous than any storm the Earth Kingdom waters could ever bring right to their fleet. Hakoda decides to take in the Prince of the Fire Nation, but as always, his family is split apart.
OR
Instead of Iroh finding Zuko after his ship explodes, Zuko floats out to sea, Hakoda basically adopts him, but in typical Zuko fashion bad luck comes his way.

Summary
The story went like this.
A banished prince spent six months searching the world for the Avatar, until he came across his first colony. There, he found starving children, pervasive sickness, and soldiers that abused anyone crossing their path, no matter what color they were wearing. There he found that the Fire Nation was not spreading greatness, it was poisoning the world.
Or early on in Zuko’s banishment, he decided to rebel against the Fire Nation and become a pirate. Featuring everyone thinking Zuko is pretty and Zuko just being happy he has both new friends and new furry animals to pet.
