Summary
Jayce has been teaching at Piltover Academy for two years now, but he still remembers his first day vividly—mostly because Viktor showed up at his classroom offering to help before he could even find the light switch.
What started as a casual working relationship quickly turned into a close friendship. They began spending more time together outside the classroom, sharing late nights, quiet mornings, and eventually, each other.
Neither of them expected it to go further than that. But when Jayce suddenly falls ill and can't shake the exhaustion, nausea, or the way his body feels off, the truth hits harder than any lab mishap:
Jayce is pregnant.
Now, he has to navigate the chaos of teaching and figuring out what the hell this means for his relationship with Viktor—and for the life growing inside him.

Jayce hummed. "What about you, then? No one waiting at home?"It had slipped out without much thinking. He'd been staring at Viktor's empty ring finger for quite some time; his eyes constantly looking to see if jewelry had appeared in between their arrangements. Before he could take back the question, Viktor inhaled deeply and set some of his documents aside.
"No," he replied simply. He would not meet Jayce’s eyes, as if he were trying his hardest to pretend this was a question, an answer like any other.
"Would… you like that?" Jayce asked again with his last ounce of courage, nothing more than a whisper between the dark walls of Viktor’s office.
"Having someone waiting for you to come back from work. To… unwind with."
