Summary
There is no such thing as a guarantee when it comes to war.
The outcome's known. Why try?
Return your rusty sword to battered sheath,
bow your head and bend your stubborn knee. Why
take the field when you cannot win the war?
But Harry -- he went down to Agincourt.

Bookmarker's Notes
THE most hopeful fic I've ever read. S7!Dean is transported back to 5x04 End!Verse. The series starts out as bleak as The End is, and seperis does not gloss over the grief, but becomes one of the funniest, most heartfelt, most hopeful things I've ever read. Yes, it's the end of the world, yes, they'll probably lose, but fuck it they're gonna fight and you, the reader, will believe in hope and humanity again.

Summary
A 14.13 Lebanon rewrite. When Dean uses a wish-granting pearl to try and kill the archangel Michael before he can escape the cage in Dean's head, they instead wind up with a newly-resurrected John Winchester.
It's been more than a decade since John died, and a lot has changed: Mary is alive, Sam and Dean have what passes for a proper home in the Men of Letters Bunker, and they're living with angels. John doesn't know angels are real, he doesn't know about the fragile new relationship between Dean and Castiel, and most of all, he doesn't know that Dean said yes to Michael, or that Dean's plan to defeat Michael would send him to a fate worse than death.
Now Dean must contend with both his father asking questions he can't answer, and his loved ones learning about the darker truths of his childhood, all while constantly battling the archangel trapped inside him. But Dean coming to terms with his history may be the difference between this being the beginning of a journey—or the end.

Summary
As a grease monkey turned college freshman, Dean's constantly three seconds away from being stressed out of his mind. It hardly helps that he's finally figuring out his sexuality in his thirties.
What might help with that stress is a little phone number (and a big credit card bill). If he can't figure out how to be bisexual in person, he can at least give it a go over the phone, right?
(It's probably a bad idea, but he really can't help himself.)

Bookmarker's Notes
This fic has everything: Falling for a voice, falling for someone via silent communication, sexuality crisis, two person love triangle, therapy via phone-BDSM then therapy via therapy, a perfect explanation of humanity through Dean working out who he is.
In the paraphrased words of a dear friend, "if I had a nickel for every time you recced me a BDSM-Destiel fic that was somehow incredibly soft and cathartic and changed your life, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't much but it's weird that it's happened twice." -

This hurts. This hurts in so many different ways across the length of the fic. It's beautiful.

Summary
Dean’s favourite coffee shop, The Graveyard Shift, is only open after the sun goes down. Which is perfect for him, because that’s exactly when he craves coffee the most while doing the overnight at the fire hall. The coffee shop’s owner is pretty perfect too, but it’s kind of a bummer that Dean never gets to see Cas during the day. In a world where the supernatural live more or less in peace with the rest of humanity, it’s a little impolite to ask Cas just what he really is - or what his dark past entails.
