“Lou?” he croaks out, voice shot and skin so white he looks almost like a ghost.
Louis swears he feels a weight being lifted off of his shoulders, making his eyes water from knowing Harry is coherent enough to speak after being out for who knows how long. Fuck, Louis doesn’t even know how long it’s been.
”Yeah, baby, it’s me,” Louis chokes out, feeling emotional from finally seeing his omega awake and functioning. “How do you feel?”
Harry lets out a whimper, looking around until it registers in his head where he is.
“Alpha,” is all Harry can muster, burrowing into Louis’ chest so that his face is hidden.
Or: Harry drops but Louis will always be there to bring him back.
