Summary
When Peter's Teacher announces that his Graduating Class's Senior Trip is going to be to Stark Industries, the place where Peter has an internship, and where he spends so much of his free time, he is... less than enthused. No one believes his Internship is real and frankly, he just doesn't want to deal with it, but between May and Mr. Stark, he doesn't really think he's going to get much of a choice.
He's going to have to go
At least Ned is excited about it.
And hey, he has a month till the actual day, maybe he'll fall into a pit or get carried away by a stork-themed villain or fall into a Coma or something before the dreaded Field Trip- Language:

Tony sighed. “Peter, if you really don’t want to go, let me talk to your Aunt, I’ll…” he shrugged, “we can have a lab day. I’ll call the school, tell them I need you for something official. We’ll make it work.”
Peter considered it. He really did, for almost a whole minute, before shaking his head. “No. One, that wouldn’t exactly help with people like Flash thinking I’m lying about my internship. In fact, bailing on this field trip would be proof, in their minds, that I was a liar.”
Tony nodded. “I wish I could tell you you were wrong. Peter,” he sighed, and looked upward, “I wish I could just fix it all for you.” He met Peter’s eyes. “I’m the fix-it guy. If there’s a problem, people come to me to fix it. You have no idea how much work goes into just housing a group of superheroes, let alone outfitting them for battles and keeping them alive. And… I wish I could just do the same here. Invent something, or throw money at… somebody, and make it all better.” He gestured outward with his hands, showing the range of what he wanted to fix: everything.
“You’d make a good dad, you know that?” Peter asked, and pinched the bridge of his nose because he hadn’t meant to say that out loud. But now, now it was out in the world, and Peter wasn’t going to do Tony the disservice of taking it back. “Um, Aunt May teases me that she’s co-parenting with you, and, you know, Thor called me Sprog-of-Stark because he thought I was your kid, and I think maybe with Clint it’s light teasing, but, Mr. Stark,” he shook his head, and then looked the older man dead in the eye, “Tony, you do so much for me. And you always seem to know just what to say to make everything feel better, even when it’s not. Someday, if you ever want kids, you’ll make a really great dad.” And then he scrunched his eyes closed because ugh, embarrassing.
“Peter,” Tony said, and his voice was a little choked up. A hand touched his shoulder, and Peter’s eyes flew open, and then Tony was reeling him in for a bear hug. It wasn’t the first time Tony had hugged him (though usually Peter was the one who instigated any hugging), but his grasp was stronger than usual. And then Tony drew in a breath through his nose and patted Peter twice on the back very manfully, and shifted away.
“You had a second point,” Tony said, and his voice was rough, but hey, if Tony was willing to ignore all the feelings that had just happened, Peter was happy to jump on that train and not mention any possible sniffling, or the warmth Peter felt in his own cheeks.
***
Without thinking, Peter’s grip tightened on Mjolnir’s handle, and he had it up and swinging without a second thought. He flung it overhand towards Dirty Dirk, and it flew, quick and true, and hit Dirty Dirk right in the dead center of his chest.
And did not stop.
Mjolnir pushed Dirty Dirk straight back out of the building, metal to sternum, through the broken windows and out onto the city below. The arc the cowboy villain and magical hammer made as they fell to earth was wide and long, and Peter had no idea where they might end up. Mjolnir had been going pretty fast after all.
He let out a rough breath and realized that slowly his classmates, who’d turned to look at the stupid villain of the week that had gate-crashed their senior field trip, were turning back to look at Peter with varying shades of wonder and surprise on their face.
And then there was a hand ruffling his hair, and Tony’s voice, so close, and so warm and full of pride said, “Holy Fuck, Pete!” He cackled, wrapped an arm around Peter’s shoulders, and ignoring Peter’s suddenly cherry red cheeks, said, “That’s my boy! Good job kid! I’m proud of you!”
Mouths dropped open in the crowd. Eyes widened. Peter caught a glimpse of Flash, who looked like he was finding out that Santa Claus was real after all, and vacationed in a Swingers’ resort in Florida.
“Hah!” Thor said loudly, “I knew that I was not mistaken! You have handled Mjolnir before, yes?” He didn’t wait for an answer. “I thought mine eyes deceived me, but nay! You are indeed worthy!”
“Uh,” Peter croaked, “Thanks.”

Summary
The moon shines just as brightly as it did any other day, its soft glow surrounded by innumerable twinkling stars like a painting came to life. However, Cheong Myeong dared to say that he would never forget tonight's moon for the rest of his life.
—
"Can't you just bring the mooncakes back? Please?"
Cheong Mun sighs, helpless and defeated.
"I can not, that's against the rules. It's mooncakes blessed by moon rabbits, so it gives you Qi just by eating it. If you eat it outside of the festival, the power would disappear."
...Sahyung, you big liar!

Cheong Myeong licked his lips in delight.
"By the way, sahyung, I never found those mooncakes anymore. Maybe the rabbits went extinct?"
"What?"
"The one you gave me when I was a kid, mooncakes blessed by moon rabbits. The one that raised your Qi when you ate it. I asked everywhere, but no one sold it anymore."
Too bad, he wanted to buy some as a gift for his Sahyung.
The other Mount Hua disciples around the table laughed at the childish memory.
“Mooncakes made by rabbits, huh?”
“I remember those…”
“How many years did I believe it?” An elder mused drunkenly, seeming nostalgic.
"Oh, sahyung. I'm sure I can make you some rabbit-stamped mooncakes, if you'd like."
Cheong Myeong shook his head sagely, cheeks flushed red with alcohol.
"No, I want the one blessed by moon rabbits."
"...?"
The chatters and laughter stopped. Everyone quietened down and turned their heads towards their youngest sahyung, their face torn between amazement and holding back laughter.
The strongest swordmaster in the world seemed oblivious to their gaze, continuing to prattle on.
"I mean, if you made it, it wouldn't be blessed, right? The mooncakes have to be sent directly from the moon to get the medicinal effect. Where else would it get the Qi? If there's no Qi then it's just regular mooncakes, not moon rabbit mooncakes. What's the point…"
Silence.
.
“Keuh…”
"Cheong Myeong-ah. You… you still believed that?"
"... What?"
“The Qi mooncakes.”
"..."
"..."
"Pfft-"
"Hua ha ha ha ha-!"
"Aigooo~ Our sahyung wants to eat moon rabbit mooncakes, what should we do?"
"Right, Cheong Myeong sahyung, mooncakes blessed by moon rabbits are so tasty, huh?"
"Does it give you Qi? The rabbits must've made them well~"
"If everyone ate it, we would all be sword saints by now! Tsk, I should've eaten more back then, huh?"
Cheong Myeong, catching on to the jeers, promptly chokes on his drink, coughing miserably with his face flushed to the tip of his ears.
"No, these bastards!?"
"Oh! Ow! Why are you hitting us? It's not our fault you put too much faith in Jangmun-sahyung!"
"Shut that mouth! Shut it!"
“Hey, just speak! Why are you biting me?!”
“Ackk! Sect leader! This crazy dog is killing people!”
From that day onwards, it became a running joke for them to whisper "moon rabbits" whenever Cheong Myeong passed by. They didn't seem to be afraid of death, not ceasing even when Cheong Myeong yelped and chased them around the yard with a sword.
“Ahh! This whole sect is bullying me!” Cheong Myeong stomped his feet angrily, as flustered as a maiden being bullied by local scoundrels. Except that fair maiden just cracked the ground under his feet and caused a small earthquake in a 50 feet radius, nearly scaring the nearby disciples into tears.
His outburst did not stop the teasing. In fact, those jerks went ahead and made a bet on who could get him the angriest without getting killed.
So far, Cheong Mun is winning. As he always does.

Summary
A small boy, merely a toddler still fluffed with baby fat, glared at the window as if it had offended him.
Pitter-patter
Of course, the source of his displeasure was not the window itself, but rather, the unending rain showering Mount Hua since the brink of dawn.

"Sahyung should live a long life and watch plum blossoms with me every year!"
"Only me? Our dear Cheong Myeong must've liked this Sahyung a lot. Aren't you going to invite the other brothers and sisters too?" Cheong Mun teased his little Sajae, who's face instantly reddened at his words.
Cheong Myeong huffed and turned his body instead, trying and failing to hide his blush.
"...Maybe, if they're nice enough, " he whispered softly, "and if they liked me enough to spend time with me at all."
Those words felt like a punch to Cheong Mun's gut. He was once again reminded that Cheong Myeong is a very clever and sensitive child. It wasn't that he didn't know that most of his martial siblings disliked him...
Cheong Myeong just accepted the fact nonchalantly, as if it was natural for him to be hated. However, isn't this too cruel? No matter what, in Cheong Mun's eyes, his Sajae is no different than a baby. It felt just like yesterday he was holding Cheong Myeong as the baby took his first step, being showered with praises from all sides.
Cheong Mun's grip tightened slightly on the steamed bun in his hands. His smile remained, but all sorts of thoughts passed through his head. For example,
Should I hit those bastards in the head until they repent, or should I hang them from a cliff? How dare they.. to my cute baby..?
(Said baby was his sajae, and the people he was planning to hit were also his sajaes and samaes. Cheong Mun doesn't really care about that, though. Favoritism is real. Equality can go to hell for all he cares.)
"Don't worry, Myeong-ah. There'll be more people joining us next year."
"...I'm fine even if it's just Sahyung."
"Well, I'm not."
Perhaps sensing Cheong Mun's bad mood, Cheong Myeong steadfastly pulled his sahyung's hand, rubbing his tiny head on Cheong Mun's palm. He looked somewhat similar to a kitten comforting their master.
If Cheong Mun was in any better mood, the action would've given him a heart attack, but now it just made him sad. How could anyone hate such a child?
****
For a moment, Cheong Jin contemplated just giving up on this stupid bet and tossing the rocks tied on his back to those shitheads he called martial brothers and sisters. He gave up on the idea quickly, knowing that: one, they wouldn't get hit, and two, he would get mocked for failing such a simple task.
His best bet is asking for someone with authority to at least stop these crazy people from hollering on him as he suffered.
"JANGMUN SAHYUNG! DO SOMETHING!" Cheong Jin called out to his one and only savior.
Cheong Mun looked up,
met his gaze,
and smiled.
The moment Cheong Jin saw that smile, he was reminded that Ah, this guy was originally a bastard too.
"Jin-ah, don't forget to pick the sweetest plum on top of the cliff for your Sect Leader!"
"Puhahaha!"
"Hahaha!"
"DAMN YOU ALL!!! I'LL PICK THE SOUREST PLUMS AND STUFF IT IN YOUR MOUTHS!"
Cheong Jin's act of carelessly shouting and wriggling around on the cliff, even though both of his hands were tied, gave his pupils heart attacks.
"M-Master! Please be careful..! Your age…"
"YOU SHUT UP TOO! I'M NOT THAT OLD!"
However, it seems that luck was not on his side. This time, both spots he used as a platform crumbled under his feet.
"Oh shit," he muttered belatedly under his breath.
"WAHHH! ELDER!!"
"ELDER CHEONG JIN IS FALLING! CATCH THE ELDER!"
Just before he was sent freefalling, Cheong Jin quickly slammed his feet on the cliff. The disciples were aghast at the sight of their elder stubbornly using his own feet as a makeshift anchor.
"SEE?! I AM. NOT. FALLING!"
Cheong Jin smiled smugly at his martial sibling's sour face. They were clearly expecting his failure, but like hell he was going to give it to them!
…There is no one sane in this damned mountain, was what the disciples collectively thought.
And so, the first and second grade disciples kept watching the cliff with a pale face, while the Cheong elders laughed hysterically whenever their dear martial brother fumbled.
Such is an ordinary spring day in the Mount Hua sect.

On his fifth birthday, baby sahyung bloomed his first plum blossom.
It's a sight so absurd, even Cheong Mun sahyung couldn't say a word. How am I supposed to deal with this? Our youngest is blooming so beautifully before some of the sasuks and sagos even make a single petal. How could a human being be born with so much talent? The world is unfair.
From that day onward, the glances against him turned a bit sharp.
.
The sahyungs and sajes teased him. For some reason, their teasing sounds a little mean. It usually went on until he either screamed and stomped in anger or tried to bite us like a dog.
But today is different.
Baby sahyung… he cried. He cried and sobbed so sadly we were at a loss on what to do. We didn't even get to do anything before he ran away and disappeared into the mountain ridges. The elders only found him later, sleeping in a cold cave with swollen eyes.
Everyone got grounded by great sahyung that day. I've never seen Cheong Mun sahyung so angry… He could kill people with his eyes. Scary.
Still,
the only thing that remains on my mind is baby sahyung's heartbroken face when he saw me among those who teased him. He looked hurt.
I should apologize.

He didn’t leave when his soul was promptly ejected out of his cooling dead body. His resentment seemed to be that strong. He wasn’t a malicious ghost though, merely an observing spirit.
He watched as a child; Shen Yuan, who was no more than twenty, stepped into his shoes. Shen Jiu though was a bit confused at the obsession Shen Yuan had with Luo Binghe, but then again whatever it wasn’t his life anymore.
He couldn’t swallow the hurt anymore when his disciples loved Shen Yuan. They loved his teaching. They loved his lectures and every praise they received. They loved that Shen Yuan had the ability to give them a home. (Two lives and Shen Jiu never understood what a home was.)
He couldn’t swallow the hurt when Liu Qingge and the others trusted Shen Yuan. They didn’t see anything amiss with him. They thought he was finally kinder. Their trust grew more when Shen Yuan was able to save Liu Qingge. What was an easy mode though? Shen Jiu questioned as he watched the brute and those siblings coddle Shen Yuan. (Was it so easy to get their approval?)
He couldn’t swallow his hurt when Qi-ge did not notice he was no longer there. Qi-ge who laughed and smiled with Shen Yuan. Who looked brighter and happier than Shen Jiu ever saw him. (Those thorns dug deep into his withered heart and stayed.)
Everything he tried to lock away barreled into him. They loved Shen Yuan, who stepped into his shoes and lived his life better. Shen Jiu watched numb and so terribly cold as Shen Yuan painted the world a beautiful white.
It hurt. It hurt. It hurts. (Why can’t it stop hurting? What does he do to make it stop hurting?)
Oh, it wasn’t Shen Yuan he hated. No, it was the people who wanted Shen Yuan and never tried to give Shen Jiu a chance. Shen Jiu was the villain and Shen Yuan was the hero.
His resentment faded until in the end there wasn’t anything left in Shen Jiu for them. He felt nothing when the disciples cried for Shen Yuan to be happier. He felt nothing when the other peak lords and lady did everything to help Shen Yuan. He felt nothing when Shen Yuan detonated his golden core. (A core Shen Jiu worked so hard for, gone like a snap.)
Not even when Shen Yuan was marrying that odd version of Luo Binghe.
There was nothing. Shen Jiu felt nothing.
So he watched the elaborate wedding, stood as far as he could from Cang Qiong. The happy looks aimed at Shen Yuan; from the disciples to the other so-called martial siblings, to Liu Qingge, to the weird version of Shang Qinghua, to Yue Qingyuan who had a bright smile on his face.
Finally, he went to where Shen Yuan stood. He looked at those clear eyes and sighed. “Have a happy life Shen Yuan.” He whispered into the man’s ear, uncaring if he heard.
He turned his gaze to his most loyal companion, Xiu Ya. The sword was glowing, he saw the others throwing looks of confusion. Detached and finally fading, he watched the brilliance of Xiu Ya give one final glow, as if saying goodbye to Shen Jiu, and shattered.
The fragments fell down as time seemed to stop. Everything in him fluttered away.
There was no hate anymore, Shen Jiu was only exhausted. There was no hurt anymore. (If he said that enough it would be true.) Shen Jiu vowed that if he was in a new life then there was nothing left for them.
He felt lighter and closed his eyes as he disappeared from that life.
He woke up again.
