He had forgotten about the story for many years, until he’d found himself seeking comfort in his memories, seeking refuge from the torment of his abusers, an escape from Ren and Pryde. Desperate for a thread of hope, for something, anything at all to cling to.
Once he reaches rock bottom, perhaps his angel will come for him.
Laying half-alive on the black rock of Exegol, he feels very much like he’s there.
Just his luck that it is the insane flyboy general who comes to his aid, instead.

Truth be told, Dameron still looks good, downing those shots of whiskey at the bar like there’s no tomorrow. The rough exterior suits him. Unlike Hux’s, his greasy hair is curly enough to not fall limply over his forehead. Smoke from his cigarra billows from between his greying moustache and beard, causing heat to rush to Hux’s groin for the first time in what feels like ages.
