Another pain invades his leg and he has to fight the urge to double over, biting down hard on his lip and closing his eyes. He prays silently that Snotlout hasn’t noticed, that he’s his usual boarish self, but his cousin frowns and leans sideways slightly, fixing his leg with a stare.
