Summary
I had intended this to be an entry in the Jonsawarriors Mini Event 2022, but evidently I am clueless as to how to submit something for entry. So since I worked pretty hard on this, I will just post as normal and hopefully, it was be enjoyed. This story was based upon Day One of the Jonsawarriors challenge featuring the words "wit, weapon, wonder." Not sure how this turned out, but gave it a try. There is an attempt at wit, mostly from Olenna Tyrell, a good deal of wonder, and lots of weapons (after all, it is a tournament!). This story does not follow canon so don't even bother trying to figure out where it fits in the GOT storyline, because, strictly speaking, it doesn't.
Summary of plot:
Sansa is at the King's tournament. She is spending the day with Margaery and Olenna Tyrell and all her family is also present (remember, this isn't canon). Olenna bemoans the fact that nothing exciting ever happens anymore at tournaments and then...a mystery knight (or is he really?) known only as the Black Knight appears in the lists and Sansa's life is about to be changed forever. -

Summary
It is clear for all to see that Gendry is a Baratheon. The spitting image of his father. When his father dies everything he has ever known is shattered. Hunted and having no other choice Gendry decides to fight back. With his allies he will show the entire realm he is much a Lannister as he is a stag. But upon doing so he will awaken and unleash a side of himself he never knew existed. It may be Gendy’s biggest triumph or regret.
